It’s bitter, but so are we!
This cocktail is an acquired taste, but then again, so is 2020. The Campari is an uncommon ingredient that gives this cocktail a strong, mature taste that the most experienced cocktail drinkers would enjoy.
Its herbal, spicy flavor works perfectly with the orange bitters and gives this cocktail a punch that would make 2020 proud.
This year will certainly be written about in the textbooks, though that isn’t a good thing in this case. One good thing that came out of 2020 was that we all learned to stop saying “well, it can’t get any worse, can it?”
So, 2020, you may be going away in a few months, but rest assured, we’ll never forget you.
1 oz Texas Crown Club Whisky
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Shake with ice, strain into rocks glass, stare into the void.
