Whisky Popsicle Recipes
The summer heat is here! There is no better way to cool down while also enjoying the flavor of a summer cocktail than with a whisky popsicle!
These sweet summer treats are a perfect on the go summer cocktail that are fun to make and share with your favorite crew.
Here are some delicious whisky popsicle recipes created with Texas Crown Whisky for you to make this summer.
Mango Whisky Smash Popsicle (Yields about 6-8 popsicles)
- 1 banana (frozen)
- Zest and juice of 2 limes
- 2 mangos (diced)
- ¼ cup of mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons of agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 ounces of Texas Crown Whisky
- Popsicle molds
- Popsicle sticks
Instructions:
In a blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth. Pour into popsicle molds. Apply foil or plastic wrap over the top to allow placement of the sticks. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until frozen solid.
To unmold, run hot water over the outside of the molds to loosen and then gently remove.
Whisky & Coke Popsicles (Yields about 10 popsicles)
- 5 ounces of Texas Crown Whisky
- 20 fluid ounces of Mexican Coke, flattened (pour into a bowl and allow to sit until no more carbonation is present, about 1 hour)
- Popsicle molds
- Popsicle sticks
Pour ½ ounce of Texas Crown into each popsicle mold. Pour 2 ounces of the flattened Coke into the mold and stir. Apply foil or plastic wrap over the top to allow placement of the sticks. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until frozen solid. To unmold, run hot water over the outside of the molds to loosen and then gently remove.
Whisky White Peach Popsicles (Yields about 10 popsicles)
- 4 cups of white peaches or regular peaches
- 2 Tbsp. of fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup of honey
- 4 ounces of Texas Crown Whisky
Peel the peaches and cut into chunks discarding the pits. Place peaches into the blender. Add the fresh lemon juice, honey and Texas Crown whisky and puree, leaving a few chucks if desired. Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds.
Apply foil or plastic wrap over the top to allow placement of the sticks. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until frozen solid.
