Whisky Slow Cooker Ribs
These slow cooker ribs have no trouble standing up against classic grilled or BBQed ribs. With thick, sweet sauce, and tender meat that slides right off the bone, these ribs resemble traditional southern Texas style BBQ. You can’t get much better than that.
Worthy of any backyard party or game day get-together, these ribs are a perfect combo of sweet and savory. Its honey sauce is made complete with rich whisky undertones that you can taste in every bite. While the whisky isn’t overpowering, its blend of grains give this meal an earthy flavor that’s simply unmatchable.

Ingredients :
- ½ medium yellow onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2½ pounds pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
- ¼ cup Texas Crown Club Whisky
Serves: 4
Time: 6½ - 8½ hours
Step 1 - In a slow cooker, place the onion and garlic.
Step 2 - Next, take the ribs and cover them with the paprika, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Make sure you get these spices all over the ribs, but the majority of them should be on the fatty, meaty side.
Step 3 - Put the ribs into the slow cooker over the onion and garlic. In a bowl, combine the mustard, honey, brown sugar, and your favorite BBQ sauce. Pour this mixture over the ribs. Then, pour the whisky over all the ingredients.
Step 4 - Cook everything in the slow cooker for 6-8 hours, or until you can very easily pull apart the meat with a fork.
Serve these ribs with coleslaw, french fries, mac and cheese, potato salad, or corn to turn this simple dish into a well-rounded, country-style meal.
